Former Generations actress Sonia Sedibe was reportedly embroiled in domestic violence with her maid Noeleen Zhangara over a telephone call.
Apparently the drama started when Sedibe dismissed her maid last year December for neglecting her duties but Noeleen decided to come back to her work in January anyway.
This is where the plot thickness, Sedibe's husband Leslie Sedibe, told the maid to come back to work besides being given marching orders by the madam.
An insider told Sunday Sun, the fight broke out when: "Sonia was preparing food and the maid was laughing and giggling on the phone. Sonia told her either to help or go to her room and make her social calls."
The paper alleges the actress throw the first blow and it went downhill from that point with ‘mops' and ‘bread bins' flying everywhere in the quiet suburb of Norwood.
The actress later opened a case of assault, which led to Zhangara arrest and freed on R1000 bail which was paid by Sonia's husband.
