Kuli Roberts the well-known radio and television personality has expressed her feelings about the incident involving Bonang Matheba and Kaizer Chiefs captain Itumeleng Khune.
Bonang claims Khune touched her inappropriately about two weeks ago at Sway Club in Sandton. An audio clip where Bonang’s boyfriend, DJ Euphonik, can be heard confronting Khune about touching Bonang did the rounds.
Kuli made her feelings about the incident no secret on social networks, saying
Bonang should have reported the incident if it took place. “Bonang is a liar!” shouted Kuli, speaking to Daily Sun. “It’s all she knows to do! She just lies for the sake of lying. She attacked Poppy and lied about that too. It’s all she does, it’s a way of life for her.
Everybody in the whole world knows Khune did nothing to her!” Kuli says she has been an advocate for women who have been raped and it is “clear that Bonang lied.
If she wasn’t lying she would have gone to the cops”. On Tuesday an open letter directed to Bonang did the rounds. The anonymous writer said the TV presenter should have reported Khune.
It reads: “If Itumeleng REALLY disrespected you as you claim, were you in a public space? Who saw you? What did you do? What did you say to him? Did you tell him stop and never do that again?
Bonang, we know that you love to fight, I’m sure if Itumeleng touched you like that you would have made sure you caused a scene at that very moment.”Questioned and asked if she had laid charges, Bonang said she could not comment.
